November 10 - Trading may resume
​​December 4/8 - Trading deadline for approval prior to Roster Reduction
​​December 15 - Deadline to submit Roster Reduction lineup - trading paused

December 29 - Roster Adjustment reports posted - trading may resume​​
THE HOT STOVE BEGINS
​
Baseball doesn't take a break as we begin preparations for the 2026 season.
​
It's time to clean house, and prepare for the First-Year Player Draft in January.
​
This is NOT your protected list for the restocking drafts! Owners are not required to release players above and beyond what is required for the Roster Reduction phase.
​
All owners must recall all players from their MLR who have exceeded rookie eligibility for the 2026 season. And, any veteran player who is on the MLR must also be recalled. Also, all players on the Inactive List must be activated.
​
At this point, the only releases that are required are those necessary to get your active roster down to the 32-man limit. Remember - no more than 20 hitters or 20 pitchers are permitted at any time on an active roster.
​
Full Slate has already taken steps to rearrange rosters in order to make this next step easier, by recalling ineligible players and moving eligible players from/to the MLR wherever possible. In some cases, additional players with rookie eligibility may have been placed on the Inactive Reserve.
​
However, the final responsibility lies with each owner to verify eligibility.​​​
POSITION ELIGIBILITY
​​​
Position eligibility for the 2026 season is being reviewed. The new list will be posted by Sunday November 9.
​
Players who appeared at multiple positions in 2025 are required to have made a minimum of 18 appearances at a position in order to retain it for the next season.
​

OFF SEASON TRADES

Trading may resume on November 10. Another trading halt will be implemented on December 4.
​
Trade proposals must be submitted ​by both owners on the same day to be considered. Rulings on trades will be posted within 2 business days.
A new regulation will be applied this off-season: An owner may submit only 1 proposal per league and may not submit another until the current trade is confirmed or denied.
​​
In some cases where owners have had past issues with their rosters, FullSlate may require a complete lineup in order verify accuracy.
