THE PLAYOFFS

As we get set to begin the "Second Season", those teams who made it still have some work to do.

We ask all owners with teams in the playoffs to do three things...

First - Refer to the Post-Season Rules & Instructions from the Downloadable Forms tab. These Tips and Instructions will help you to understand how the playoffs differ from the regular season.
Roster depth - with regard to platooning - is not especially recommended. Unlike the regular season - where teams only play 7 games a week a few times a season, in the playoffs you are essentially playing only 1 game at a time. In the regular season, assigning each backup 1 game per week gives you the opportunity to prevent all backups from playing against the last team in your "Schedule". In the playoffs, if one infielder is clearly better than the other, it wouldn't necessarily be prudent to give the lesser player any starts.

Second - Refer to the Post-Season rosters which are shown on each league page near the bottom of the 2nd column. These rosters were stripped of free agent claims made over the final 4 weeks of the season. Those (stripped) players are still on your regular season rosters but are ineligible for the playoffs.

Third - Download the playoff lineup from the Downloadable Forms tab that is specific to the playoffs. One side is for the Best-of-Five LDS, and the back is for the Best-of-Seven LCS. Be sure to account for EVERY player who is listed on your Post-Season roster. Remember roster limits still apply, i.e. only 9 OFs, SPs and RPs.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email us, or call during the Sunday office hours. While we will make every effort to contact an owner if we find mistakes, please understand it is not our responsibility.
WHO's ON FIRST?

As the weekly lineup data is key-punched into the system every weekend, we encounter roster issues. Either forgetting to list a player who is on their roster or listing a player who is not.

It is not uncommon for even the most veteran owner to have this issue. When a mistake is made, it tends to snowball, causing issues for weeks if not discovered.

Please keep in mind, it is not the responsibility of FullSlate to report these issues, although when time permits, we have done so.
POSITION ELIGIBILITY

Position eligibility for the 2026 season is being reviewed.
Players who appeared at multiple positions in 2025 are required to have made a minimum of 18 appearances at a position in order to retain it for the next season.

Please be sure to review the Multi-Position Eligibility page for a complete update.
