It's time for a fresh look at the Big Board, 15 weeks into the 2026 season...
As carousel ride continues, as the Top Ten gets yet another shakeup. Three new teams busted into the race, sending the previous 5th, 6th and 9th place teams down the chart.
When the dust settled, Tom Burniski's REDBIRDS / Landis (up 6 slots), Steve Caudill's GOOCH TROOP / Alston (also up 6 slots) and Joe Haren's SCOOBY DOO / Rickey are now in a virtual tie for the #1 spot. Based on each team's lead in their division, they settle in in that order.
Just 3 games off the pace is another logjam with (unowned) CHAIN LIGHTNING / It Ain't Over (up 6 slots), CYCLONES / Harris (down 1 spot) and COCKYBASTIDS / Bostock (up 6 slots) holding down the 4th, 5th and 6th places.
Rounding out the Top Ten at #7 is the previous leader - Ben Torres' LONGBOYS / Bostock dropping 6 slots (-4) and in 8th is Sly Asselin's LAKE MONSTERS / Griffith up 8 spots (-6). Max Martin's SHOELESS MAX drops 7 slots to check-in at #9 (-7) and Jim Duzyk's ALIEN BEATS cracks the Top Ten jumping 14 slots at #10 (-7)
The hottest team over the past 3 weeks - winning 18 of 21 games - was Tim Gleason's LITIGATORS / Comiskey. On the strength of that streak, they also made the biggest move on the Board, shooting up 29 slots.
